Residential
Three Pavilions
Location: Kennebunkport,Maine

This new home is proposed for a wooded lot in Kennebunkport, Maine. It is a single level home with a detached garage for a couple from New Hampshire moving back to their home ground. The home is conceived as 3 separate structures connected by transparenet indoor or outdoor connections. We sited the house to take advantage of the Southern sun while giving them a walk-out experience from all areas of the home onto platform decks and ultimately to the landscaped ground plane. 2 full roofs of solar panels will provide the entire electrical load for the home and its charging stations.

Project Spotlight

This project was organized around southern exposure and the desire for a full array of solar panels on the roof to support an all-electric home.
