This is comprehensive renovation of an old summer camp dining hall active in the 1970s. The owners came to us with the goals of bringing in more daylight to the interior spaces and a desire to renovate the entire interior with an expanded primary suite and an overhaul of all finishes throughout the home. In process, the scope increased to include a full landscape scope to rework the steep driveway access, improve the home’s entry sequence and carve in a naturalized patio to work in concert with a new outdoor kitchen on the South side of the home. The renovation involves significant reinforcing of the home to stabilize the poorly built original structure.
