This Bakery/Coffee shop, ROOTS CAFE opened September 2018 on a prominent corner in Westbrook. Maine. The property is long and thin and had included train tracks many years ago before the line was abandoned and the property sold.  In addition to the Cafe and Kitchen spaces, it includes a large meeting room for events, a child care area for kids, a separate tenant space, an exterior patio, and a roof-top deck for summer use.  The clients wanted a modern barn-style building that would serve the community as an important social space.
