The owners of this development home in Scarborough, Maine were looking for new living and bedroom space, and to improve their backyard landscape. We ended up placing a single level master suite addition to the rear of the house and integrating a deck, fire pit, and kidney-shaped, in-ground pool. A curved stone landscape wall gives structure to the different living areas and layers onto the addition to help tie the features together. The design of the addition is driven by natural light and a strong connection with the landscaped backyard.
Included with the project is a complete basement remodel with reclaimed wood wall finishes and wet bar, Eldorado stone wall for an accent wall in the fitness room, audio/visual room, gaming area and full bathroom.
